On a glorious, sunny, clear and cool Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, we took a blast from the past in celebrating our Retro/Throwback game. Our team donned the Icy White throwback uniforms, and old school music and graphics — including that fantastic screaming Bevo logo — were on full display. We had so much fun with y'all celebrating the rich history of our great University with a week filled with nostalgia. Then Coach Herman and our Longhorns delivered a convincing 27-16 bounce-back victory in our 110th meeting with Baylor.
Sam Ehlinger continued to lead the way, running for two TDs and throwing for a score to extend his school record to 17 career games with a rushing and passing TD.
