As we head into a tradition-filled week of giving thanks, I've got to first reflect on the pride and winning tradition of our Texas Longhorns that was on full display in the recent days gone by. Soccer made a thrilling run to the NCAA Sweet 16, Men's Cross Country raced to its best NCAA finish (seventh) in 17 years, then Football went into Ames and imposed its will in a 26-16 triumph over Iowa State to remain alone atop the league standings with a Big 12 Championship Game berth firmly in its sights. We had another sweep from our Big 12 Champion Volleyball squad as it hit the home stretch with its eyes on another NCAA Tourney run, Women's Basketball won a pair of games at Moody Center, and Men's Basketball showed tremendous Texas Fight in the Big Apple.
