In my few short months in Austin, it seems like each day has something new to celebrate. We've had incredibly generous donations from Kevin Durant, Julia Hickman and Cecil Reynolds; and hosted ESPN's College GameDay at the Erwin Center. Freshman San Worley broke a school record in the mile at the Husky Classic, Men's Golf senior Scottie Scheffler won the Genesis Open Collegiate Showcase, and now we are celebrating a pair of Hall of Famers in former Football head coach Mack Brown and current Women's Basketball associate head coach Tina Thompson. On top of that, Softball started the season last Friday with a win over Incarnate Word and the Baseball team kicks off their season this Friday vs.
