Former Vanderbilt forward Khaleann Caron-Goudreau has decided to transfer to Texas after injuries sidelined her for nearly all of the 2014-15 season with the Commodores.
The 6-foot-2-inch Caron-Goudreau, a native of Gatineau, Quebec, won’t be eligible until the 2016-17 season. She averaged 7.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in the three games she played this past season as a freshman at Vanderbilt.
Longhorns coach Karen Aston called Caron-Goudreau a “perfect fit” for Texas.
“She adds great size and versatility — in both skill and the ability to play the guard and post positions — to our team,” Aston said Wednesday.
