Katy product Kyle Porter is reportedly headed home to the Houston area.
After electing to enter his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal in late January, the former Texas Longhorns running back is set transfer to the University of Houston, where he’ll be eligible immediately, per a report from Mark Berman, the Sports Director at Fox 26 in Houston.

A former starter at Texas and key contributor throughout the early portion of the 2017 season, Porter saw only one carry for two yards in 2018 as Texas largely relied upon graduate transfer Tre Watson, true freshman Keaontay Ingram, and quarterback Sam Ehlinger to assume ball-carrying duties.
