The Texas Longhorns have undoubtedly seen better days.
Saturday’s 50-7 blowout loss to TCU was a low-point of this season. On the field Texas was dominated, while off the field they were humiliated, largely thanks to freshman cornerback Kris Boyd.
With a 1-4 record, unsurprisingly, fans are calling for head coach Charlie Strong to be fired. Even though it’s just his second season and he’s only been able to bring in one recruiting class, the “fire Charlie” train is starting to pick up steam.
Former Longhorns, Quandre Diggs and Quentin Jammer, disagree with fans calling for Strong’s dismissal, and both players took to Twitter to voice their opinion.
