Several months after entering the NCAA Transfer Portal in early January, former Texas Longhorns cornerback Devin Duvernay has found another home, as he has reportedly transferred to Northwestern State, per 247Sports’ Chris Hummer.
A member of Charlie Strong’s final class in Austin, Duvernay originally signed with Baylor on National Signing Day in 2016. However, Duvernay, along with his brother Devin Duvernay, who starred at receiver for the Longhorns before being selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, ultimately landed in Austin in the wake of the sexual assault scandal that took play at Baylor.
