Roughly a month after transferring from the Texas Longhorns basketball program, center James Banks has found a new home close to his oldest home — the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets:
The 6’10, 240-pounder is from Decatur, a suburb of Atlanta, before finishing his high school basketball career in Indiana. A member of the 2016 recruiting class, Banks will have two seasons of eligibility remaining after he sits out the upcoming campaign.
Banks was recruited as a defender, rebounder, and rim protector with the hope that he would eventually emerge as a player with some type of offensive game.
