Former Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds will be honored Tuesday as a member of the hall of fame class for the National Association of Collegiate Directors.

Texas won 14 national titles and 108 conference titles in the 32 years that Dodds served as AD, from 1981-2013. In that time, Dodds help turn Texas into the most profitable athletic department in the country.

Dodds was a key figure in realignment during 2010 and in the formation of Texas’ Longhorn Network with ESPN. He’s been a special assistant to the UT president since retiring.
