One month after announcing his decision to transfer from Texas, former Longhorns' guard Jacob Young has found a new program to call home. The sophomore has decided to commit to Rutgers, continuing his collegiate career playing in the Big 10.
Young averaged 6.2 points per game for Texas last year, playing just under 17 minutes per game. His biggest performance of the season came in the Big 12 Tournament, erupting for 29 points against Texas Tech.
The Houston Yates product will have to sit out the 2018-19 season per NCAA rules, returning to game action in the fall of 2019.
