Former Longhorn Earl Thomas on Ezekiel Elliott's kettle celebration, his hopes for Tom Herman

Former Longhorns safety Earl Thomas, now with the Seahawks, has experience in NFL touchdown celebrations. Thomas hugged a referee after returning a fumble recovery for a touchdown in the Seahawks' 25-20 loss vs. New Orleans on Oct. 30.

He was flagged 15 yards with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty but didn't get fined.

So when he sees touchdown celebrations like Ezekiel Elliott's kettle jump - which has since sparked a roughly $200,000 spike in donations for the Salvation Army - Thomas doesn't lament Elliott escaping fines like some NFL players did.
