Kids that enroll at the controversial IMG Academy won't be able to play for Baylor, according to a report.
Waco's KCEN-TV said Baylor coach Matt Rhule told those at the annual Texas High School Coaches Association convention that the Bears wouldn't look at schools like IMG that recruit high school players from Texas.
On Sunday, Texas coach Tom Herman told those at the coaching convention that he's willing to talk recruits who are thinking of leaving to stay at their local school, according to the Houston Chronicle.
While the sentiments scored points with the state's high school coaches, the practice of blackballing IMG-like programs sounds practical in theory but problematic for college coaches trying to remain competitive in their respective conferences.
