AUSTIN, Texas – For the second-straight year, Texas senior offensive lineman Jake Majors was named to the preseason watch list for the Rimington Trophy, the Boomer Esiason Foundation announced Friday. The Rimington Trophy is awarded annually to the most outstanding center in college football.
Majors is a fifth-year offensive lineman from Prosper, Texas, who has played in 42 games with 41 starts. A Joe Moore Award semifinalist in 2023, Majors was part of an offensive line that blocked for Doak Walker Award semifinalist Jonathon Brooks and Davey O'Brien Award semifinalist Quinn Ewers.
