AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Football's 2025 schedule was announced by the Southeastern Conference Wednesday evening.
The slate features seven games inside the state's borders, including six at home inside Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The Longhorns will have five true road contests, beginning with their season-opener at Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio, on Aug. 30 before hosting three-consecutive home games against San Jose State (Sept. 6), UTEP (Sept. 13) and Sam Houston (Sept. 27). Texas and Ohio State will meet for just the fourth time in history and first time since 2009 with UT holding a 2-1 series lead against the Buckeyes.
