AUSTIN, Texas – Super Bowl LVI is set for Sunday and for the 17th consecutive year, Texas Football will be represented in the NFL's championship game. Former Longhorn Trey Hopkins will suit up at center for the Cincinnati Bengals, while former Texas JACK Joseph Ossai, who suffered a season-ending knee injury during the preseason, will be inactive for the Bengals. It marks the 12th time in that 17-year span that Texas has had multiple players on rosters.
Texas has had a member of the Super Bowl Championship team in 12 of the last 16 years, a statistic Hopkins and Ossai will look to improve upon when Cincinnati faces the Los Angeles Rams this weekend.
