Five Texas breakout candidates for the fall: Can Lil'Jordan Humphrey become a No. 1 option?

As Texas begins summer workouts next month, the Longhorns will look to build upon their 2017 campaign, one in which they notched a winning season for the first time since 2013.

With the .500 barrier now crossed, expectations are high in Austin, with contention for the Big 12 title firmly in sight. But to reach that goal, Texas will need increased contributions throughout its roster, both from returning starters and incoming freshman. So which Longhorns are poised to make a leap in 2018? Here are five candidates.
