On Monday, the Texas Longhorns received some good news on the recruiting trail, as 2020 Houston North Forest wide receiver Demond Demas released his top five schools and the Longhorns remained in the mix:
As edit indicates, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oklahoma also remain contenders for the nation’s No. 3 wide receiver in the 2020 recruiting class.
Several factors are in favor of the Longhorns in this recruitment, as Demas is close friends with his teammate, offensive tackle Javonne Shepherd, who committed to Texas on Sunday. Part of the tie between the two is their mutual connection to trainer Rischad Whitfield, known as the Footwork King.
