Well, that was something.
The Texas offense needed every one of its 50 points and every yard of its 638 yard total. Sam Ehlinger paced the Horns with a dominating 31 of 44 for 399 yard passing and four touchdown performance and 91 rushing yards, consistently using his legs to regenerate the Longhorn offense, but he threw one very poor interception on a bad RPO read that set up a Kansas touchdown deep in Longhorn territory. Given that he has a 21:3 TD/INT ratio seven games in, I think perfection is probably a bit too high of a standard.
