Appalachian State Mountaineers head coach Scott Satterfield likely hasn’t been a particularly happy man the last few days. His staff evaluated and landed Sebring (Fla.) running back DJ Williams during the summer, but now Williams is on the radar of national programs and unlikely to end up playing his college football in Boone.
On Saturday, the Texas Longhorns became the latest of those programs to official enter the 5’11, 210-pounder’s recruitment:
Auburn, Miami, and Tennessee have all offered in the last three days, with Williams quickly setting official visits to Coral Gables (November 17) and Auburn (November 23).
