In what seemed like a much-needed win for the United States and legendary head coach Gregg Popovich on the night of July 18, former star Texas basketball freshman forward Kevin Durant wasn’t really one that stuck out for this team. Facing a Spain team that was looking to give Team USA a run for their money ahead of the start of the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, next week, this squad really showed up to play.
KD and the United States definitely had a rough run at things during this pre-Olympic circuit of exhibition games in the past couple of weeks.
