West Mesquite’s Ty Jordan is considered to be the second best instate all-purpose back, per the 247Sports Composite, and as of Monday, only 11 programs are still standing in his recruitment.
The Texas Longhorns are among that bunch, alongside Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Tennessee, USC, Utah, and Wisconsin.
Jordan received an offer from Tom Herman and company last July and presumes as one of the top targets for the Horns at the position. Texas currently holds all three of Jordan’s Crystal Ball predictions and his personal relationship with the staff is a huge indication why the Longhorns have a great chance at possibly landing him.
