TYLER, Texas – Texas Football's QB Sam Ehlinger and WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey were named semifinalists for the 2018 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, it was announced on Friday morning. The award, which began in 2013, was won by UT's D'Onta Foreman in 2016.
A native of Austin, Ehlinger has led the Longhorns to a 7-3 mark so far in 2018 as the starting QB as a sophomore. He is 205-of-319 for 2,483 yards and 20 touchdowns to just two interceptions. He has added nine scores on the ground and currently ranks sixth in program history for single-season touchdowns accounted for.
