Texas running back D'Onta Foreman is just one big week away from breaking the school record for consecutive 100-yard games.
The junior tied Longhorns legend Earl Campbell's 11-game streak in the first half Saturday, a record that's stood since 1977.
Foreman met with Campbell during halftime of Texas' 24–20 loss to West Virginia. He said Campbell congratulated him and offered encouragement for the rest of the year.
"He told me he hopes I go break [the record] next week," Foreman said.
Foreman said he's honored to be in the conversation with Campbell, a Heisman winner and NFL Hall of Famer.
