Stan Drayton is likely now done recruiting the running back position this cycle, as the Texas Longhorns have landed a pledge from dynamic West Mesquite all-purpose back Ty Jordan, who announced his commitment to the Horns on Saturday/Sunday.
Jordan’s commitment came while on campus for No. 9 Texas’ X-X win/loss over No. 6 LSU.
Jordan owns 25 total offers, but USC and Tennessee, which each hosted him for official visits during the summer, were among Texas’ most notable competition for his commitment.
A three-star talent, Jordan has had a Texas offer in hand since camping with the Longhorns last summer.
