IRVING, Texas – Texas Football's Devin Duvernay and Zach Shackelford have been named to the 2020 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions who each maintained a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or higher during their careers.
Along with the GPA requirement, student-athletes nominated by their respective schools must have completed their final year of playing eligibility in 2019, been starters or significant contributors last season and met all NCAA- or NAIA-mandated progress toward degree requirements.
Duvernay and Shackelford were both three-time Academic All-Big 12 selections (2017-19) and five-time members of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll during their careers.
