Even though Texas running back D'Onta Foreman didn't earn a Heisman Ceremony invite in December, he has still managed to rack up the hardware this offseason.
Foreman was named the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award winner on Wednesday. The award recognizes the top Texas-born offensive player on and off the field.
The junior from Texas City exploded onto the scene this year while rushing for 2,028 yards — second in Texas history — and 15 touchdowns. He also broke Longhorn legend Earl Campbell's 11-game streak for most consecutive 100-yard games in Texas history, hitting the century mark in 13 straight games.
