D'Onta Foreman on winning the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award: Campbell 'told me he sees some of him in me'

University of Texas running back D'onta Foreman won the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award in Tyler January 11, awarded to the best college football player who played his high school football in Texas.

Foreman, of Texas City, finished second in school history with 2,028 rushing yards in 2016.

Special Contributor Ken Capps spoke to Foreman following the awards ceremony about the fierce competition in winning the trophy and his upcoming prospects in the NFL draft.

"For me to be able to stand next to and win [Earl Campbell's] award is so unreal to me," Foreman said.
