D’Onta Foreman, who will be wearing #27 for his hometown Houston Texans, was the latest draft pick to sign with the team.
According to a Houston Chronicle report, Foreman signed a four-year deal worth $3.26 million.
It’s a good deal for a third round pick who is expected to back up starting RB Lamar Miller. And, Foreman is entitled to some nice increases over the length of the deal:
- Year 1: $465,000
- Yr 2: $588,500
- Year 3: $678,500
- Yr 4: $768,500
- Signing Bonus: $759,484
Foreman will receive those steady increases if he performs well for the Texans over the life of his rookie contract.
