Entering the fifth year of the Steve Sarkisian era on the Forty Acres, the Texas Longhorns are facing a new challenge for the first time in Sarkisian’s tenure — replacing four offensive line starters with a combined 157 career starts, including center Jake Majors, who set the program record with 56 starts.
“We’ve dealt with it on the defensive line for a couple years now. We’ve dealt with it at wide receiver for a couple of years now. We’ve dealt with it at the running back position for a couple years now, but this has probably been the first time when the offensive line has been the one that’s part of that transition,” Sarkisian said on Tuesday.
