NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Two Texas Longhorns were honored as first team All-Americans this weekend by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Punter Michael Dickson and safety DeShon Elliott were both recognized following their standout seasons as first team All-Americans.
The 2017 Walter Camp All-America team will be honored at the organization's 51st annual national awards banquet, presented by David McDermott Lexus of New Haven, on Saturday night at the Yale University Commons in New Haven, CT. The Foundation will also recognize three individuals – Lee Corso (Distinguished American), former Ohio State and NFL running back Eddie George (Alumni Award) and former Georgia Tech and NFL standout wide receiver Calvin Johnson (Man of the Year) – with major awards.
