Two big-time offensive performances on Friday earned recognition from the Big 12, as Texas Longhorns senior wide receiver Devin Duvernay and freshman running back Roschon Johnson were honored on Monday as the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, respectively, for their production against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Duvernay set his career high with 199 receiving yards and a touchdown on only six catches, including a 75-yard touchdown catch that marked his 100th reception of the season. With that catch, Duvernay became only the third Longhorn in school history to reach that plateau.
