Though the stats would suggest — and correctly so — that the ground game wasn’t much to write home about, ranking 98th in rushing S&P+ despite a record-setting effort from sophomore quarterback Sam Ehlinger, the productivity the Texas backfield mustered last season was leaps and bounds beyond 2017.
