Drew Stubbs will be inducted into the Longhorn Men's Hall of Honor Friday night.
Twelve seasons of professional baseball does not allow for much consistency, but through different cities, different teammates, different clubhouses—different everything—there has always been one constant for Drew Stubbs.
"The University of Texas has been an identity for me, among my teammates, my peers, the public," Stubbs said. "It's something that I've just embraced as kind of being part of me.
"When I go around—I played for seven different Major League teams now—the one constant that I have is being a Longhorn. More so than anything else, I'm proud of that and I'm happy that that's kind of been my association, from teammates, friends, and family alike.
