AUSTIN, Texas – No. 4 Texas Track and Field's Tara Davis was named the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) Women's National Athlete of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday. She is the first Longhorn to win the honor multiple times in the same outdoor season.
Davis, an Agoura Hills, Calif. native, produced another historical performance this past weekend at the Texas Invitational, this time doing so in both the women's long jump and 100-meter hurdles.
