The Texas Longhorns continued to add preferred walk-ons on Wednesday, with Dallas Woodrow Wilson wide receiver Travis West announcing on Twitter that he’s signed with head coach Tom Herman’s program:

The 5’11, 150-pounder had a strong junior season with 54 catches for 896 yards and 13 touchdowns, but then played in only three games as a senior. The decision to walk on at Texas came despite offers from Abilene Christian, Army, and Montana State, marking another recruit with multiple offers choosing to walk on at in Austin instead of accepting a scholarship offer.

On Tuesday evening, the ‘Horns added former Owls linebacker commit Luke Brockermeyer, whose father was an All-American offensive tackle at Texas.
