It was another busy recruiting week in D-FW.
Here are five takeaways.
1. Area recruits checking out Texas -- Tom Herman and the Longhorns are set to host several D-FW recruiting targets for its important matchup against West Virginia today. The highlight is Melissa wide receiver Kennedy Lewis, who recently backed out his verbal pledge to TCU -- just days after making an official visit to UT. If the Longhorns make a push, they could get Lewis to jump onboard. Other local prospects making their way to Austin are Duncanville athlete Ja'Quinden Jackson, West Mesquite running back Ty Jordan, Bishop Dunne linebacker Brennon Scott and Plano East safety Tyler Owens.
