AUSTIN, Texas – With the conclusion of the indoor track and field season, the USTFCCCA announced its national award winners on Thursday and two Texas Longhorns were honored.
Senior Ryan Crouser ended his career with his fourth NCAA title in the shot put and he was named the USTFCCCA Division I Men's National Field Athlete of the Year.
Associate Head Coach Tonja Buford-Bailey was recognized for her work with the women's sprinters as the USTFCCCA Division I Women's National Assistant Coach of the Year.
Crouser dominated the shot put in his final season as a Longhorn.
