COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas cross country program posted two top-five finishes at its first SEC Cross Country Championships on Friday morning.
The No. 28 women were led by senior Eva Jess who recorded a 22-second personal best time in the 6k at 19:38.1. It's the second time this season Jess has led the Longhorns as the top finisher as Texas finished fifth overall with 150 points. Jess' finish earned her Second Team All-SEC honors.
The women finished behind Alabama (72), Tennessee (103), Florida (122) and Arkansas (132).
