Welterweight world titlist Terence Crawford defeated Amir Khan by TKO in the sixth round Saturday night at Madison Square Garden when Khan's corner determined he could no longer continue after being hit by an accidental low blow.
The fight, the main event of the first Top Rank Boxing on ESPN pay-per-view card, was called at 47 seconds.
Crawford knocked Khan down late in the opening round with a chopping right hand followed by a left hook and staggered him again just before the bell sounded, as Khan barely escaped the first.
Crawford was in control through the sixth round, when he landed a hard shot below the belt.
