With the NFL Scouting Combine beginning on Feb. 27, one former Longhorn should have no trouble standing out according to Sports Illustrated writer Bruce Feldman.
The SI college football analyst named offensive tackle Connor Williams one of the ten "freaks set to turn heads at the combine", comparing Williams to 2017 first-round selection Garrett Bolles.
The 6'6" Williams has great length and a tenacious playing style," Feldman said. "He should turn heads in the position drills because of his flexible hips, but he also could approach the 4.55 shuttle time that Broncos first-rounder Garett Bolles produced last year and shine in the 40, broad and vertical jumps.
