AUSTIN - The last question at Charlie Strong's press conference Monday focused on football recruiting.
As he has before as Texas coach, Strong noted that he was a closer with recruits.
"Come December and January, we'll put the hammer down, start getting after them," Strong said. "We'll go get what we need to go get.
