Opening Statement: It was a great day today, and it was a great finish. Our coaching staff, players, and intermediate staff did an unbelievable job. I know we were shorthanded, and I think about [tight ends/special teams coach] Jeff Traylor over in east Texas and the job he did. [Defensive line coach] Brick Haley did an unbelievable job in Louisiana, [linebackers coach/recruiting coordinator] Brian Jean-Mary and [wide receivers coach] Jay Norvell in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
