Once again, a Texas Longhorns player proved that entering the NCAA transfer portal is merely the first step in departing the program.
According to a report from Inside Texas on Wednesday, junior cornerback Anthony Cook will remain with the Longhorns despite entering the NCAA transfer portal back in June. Horns247 quickly confirmed the report.
Prior to entering the transfer portal, Cook tweeted, “Due to unfortunate situations I will not be playing another snap for the University of Texas. [This] Has nothing to do with anyone or anything.
