AUSTIN — Graduate guard Marcus Carr tied the UT single-game record for most three-pointers made in a game (10) and tied his career high with 41 points to pace No. 6/6 Texas (11-1) to a 97-72 win over Texas A&M-Commerce (4-10) on Tuesday evening at Moody Center. Carr, who converted 10-of-15 from beyond the arc, tied the school record for most three-pointers made in a game set by Al Coleman against Kansas State on Jan. 12, 1997.
Carr became the first Texas player to record at least 40 points in a game since Reggie Freeman scored 43 in a home win against Fresno State on Dec.
