IRVING, Texas — University of Texas graduate guard Marcus Carr has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday. This marks Carr's second career weekly league honor, as he claimed his first accolade earlier this season on Dec. 19.
Carr paced the Longhorns to a pair of victories last week. He averaged 27.0 points, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals in 32.5 minutes per game. Carr converted 54.8-percent (17-31) from the floor, including 66.
