IRVING, Texas — University of Texas graduate guard Marcus Carr has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday. This marks Carr's first career weekly league honor.
Carr paced the Longhorns to a pair of victories last week. He averaged 22.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 37.3 minutes per contest while converting 51.7-percent (15-29) from the floor, including a 46.2-percent (6-13) mark from three-point range, and 75-percent (9-12) from the free throw line.
