AUSTIN - Before he put a number on the intensity level for his team’s win over Texas, Baylor forward Taurean Prince wanted to know the scale.
Told one to 10, Prince gave his response:
“Fifteen,” he said after a 78-64 win at a sold-out Erwin Center that wasn’t nearly that close. Prince confirmed what everyone knew from recent meetings - the rivalry is very real and very personal.
“You know how it is. It’s Baylor-Texas,” Prince said. “They don’t like us. We don’t like them. At the end of the day, we agree to disagree. We knew they beat us at home so we had to beat them here to avoid a sweep.
