Former University of Texas Head Coach Mack Brown will receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2016 Paul "Bear" Bryant Awards banquet this Wednesday in Houston. A tribute that honors the memory of Bryant, Brown is being recognizing for outstanding career accomplishments both on and off the field.
The 2005 Paul "Bear" Bryant National Coach of the Year honoree, Brown is one of a short list of coaches in the history of college football to lead two separate programs (North Carolina/Texas) to Top Five national finishes.
