AUSTIN — Former University of Texas Head Coach Mack Brown was the recipient of the prestigious Distinguished American Award at the 2016 National Football Foundation Austin Chapter Scholar-Athlete Banquet on Monday night, May 9, at the Frank Erwin Center.
Awarded on special occasions when an outstanding candidate emerges, the award is recognized as one of the NFF and College Hall of Fame's highest honors.
