Old topics took on new life Tuesday from the conference’s pro rata clause, which played a key role in expansion speculation, to Bowlsby’s acknowledgement that significant discussion of individual candidates occurred at the board of directors meeting last week.
A decision is expected by early November, Bowlsby said, about whether to play divisions in football with the return of a conference title game for 2017.
